When: July 18th  2024 (9am - 12:30 pm).  Check in 8:45am - 9:00am
Where: Ephrata Area School District Softball Complex,  957 Hammon Ave Ephrata PA
For Whom: 8-12th graders interested in playing softball at the collegiate level, and any collegiate athletes currently in the transfer portal.

Exposure Event Details

The 2024 Big Time Softball College Exposure Events are open to any uncommitted 8th graders and above and are designed to give players the maximum exposure needed to compete at the next level. Not only will participants receive high-level exposure from College Coaches in attendance, but all players at events will be videoed and the edited performance will be hosted in their profile on the Big Time Softball website. All participants will receive an event t-shirt, an online Player Profile on the BTS website featuring their measurable stats, and a headshot for their profile. In addition to the college coaches in attendance, all player profiles will be available to college coaches around the country.

Details:

  • Recording each participants metrics, including Hitting, Fielding (both IO/OF) , Pitching, POP Times, overhand Throwing and 20/40 times
  • Pitcher bullpens to capture velocities, spin rates, movement, etc
  • Pro-style workout including timed sprints, offensive and defensive evaluations
  • Showcase in front of 7+ NCAA Coaches
  • FlightScope and BlastMotion provide advanced pitching and hitting metrics to be featured on athlete's player profile page
  • All participants receive an HD college recruitment video
  • Social Media promotion of top performers
  • Opportunity to be ranked in our state and national rankings
  • Ability to demonstrate continued growth and player development
  • This seamless integration of live event data and highlight videos elevates the significance of our events, making them a pivotal stepping stone for aspiring collegiate athletes.

Cost:

$225    Single Position Player only

$275    Dual Position Player  - Pitcher and 1 Defensive Position or 2 Defensive Positions

** PLEASE READ ** All players will receive an online profile with their verified statistics listed from this event, a picture and uploaded video (7-to-10 days post event) from the players performance. Furthermore, the top players will be listed in our statewide player rankings and overall rankings. Big Time Softball events are a must for serious players with goals of playing at the next-level.

8:45 - 9:00 AM:   Player Registration & Photos 

Players arrive and complete registration.  Recieve their Event shirts and Profile Pictures will be taken.
Players have time for warm-up, stretching, and getting acquainted with the event space.

 

9:00 AM  Player Dynamic Warm ups & College Coach Introductions  

 

20/40-Yard Dash

Players participate in the 20 & 40-yard dash assessment, where their speed and acceleration are measured.


Hitting Assessment

Players take turns at hitting stations, where exit velocity and hitting mechanics are assessed.
Coaches and Scouts observe players' batting skills and power.

 

Infield and Outfield Assessment & Catcher POP Times

Infield and outfield drills are conducted to evaluate players' fielding skills, including ground balls, pop-ups, and throws.
Coaches assess players' fielding range, accuracy, and arm strength.

Catchers participate in pop time assessments to measure their quickness in throwing out baserunners.
Coaches evaluate catchers' receiving skills, transfer times, and arm strength.


Pitching Assessment

Pitchers take the mound for assessments of their pitch velocity, accuracy, and command.
Coaches observe pitchers' mechanics and ability to control various pitches.

Exposure Event
Big Time Softball Exposure Events are open to the public and provide athletes an opportunity to participate in a pro-style workout in front of a minimum of 7 NCAA coaches. All participants will receive an event t-shirt, an online Player Profile on the BTS website featuring their measurable stats, a head shot, player information, and an HD skills video. In addition to the college coaches in attendance, all player profiles will be available to college coaches around the country.

-Pro-style workout including a dynamic warm-up, timed sprints, offensive and defensive evaluations, and pitcher bullpens to capture velocities, spin rates, movement, etc.
