Big Time Softball Scout Days are built to help athletes stand out.
These events serve as a key identifier for scouts and college coaches heading into the travel season—giving recruiters a head start on who to follow.

Summer and Fall are when players shine, coming off training programs and high school seasons with their best performances. Scout Days capture those results and help athletes update their verified Big Time Softball profiles.


EVENT OVERVIEW

Date: Tuesday, July 8th, 2026
Time: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Registration starts at 5:00 PM)
Location: All Sports Center, 1511 W Main Street, Collegeville PA 19426


Who: Open to all uncommitted 9U & above players
Registration Deadline:  July 1st, 2026 @ 12:00 PM or until full


Cost: $175 Registration Fee, 2 defensive positions included

Agenda -

Player Registration and Warm-up

Players arrive and complete registration, including providing necessary information and waivers.
Players have time for warm-up, stretching, and getting acquainted with the event area.

Intro to the Day & Event Start

20/40-Yard Dash

Players participate in the 20 & 40-yard dash assessment, where their speed and acceleration are measured.

Hitting Assessment

Players take turns at hitting stations, where exit velocity and hitting mechanics are assessed and players batting skills and power are measured.

Infield and Outfield Assessment

Infield and outfield drills are conducted to evaluate players' fielding skills, including ground balls, pop-ups, and throws.
Players showcase fielding range, accuracy, and arm strength.

Catcher Pop Time Assessment

Catchers participate in pop time assessments to measure their quickness in throwing out baserunners.
Players showcase receiving skills, transfer times, and arm strength.

Pitching Assessment

Pitchers take the mound for assessments of their pitch velocity, accuracy, and command.
Players showcase pitching mechanics and ability to control various pitches.
