The 2026 Summer Showcase Invitational isn’t just another tournament — it’s a pro-style event that combines competitive softball with Big Time Softball’s advanced metrics evaluation. Teams compete in guaranteed games, while players have the opportunity to showcase their hitting, pitching, and defensive skills in front of college coaches and our scouting network on Friday June 12th 

Why This Event Matters

  • Advanced metrics exposure: FlightScope, BlastMotion, Radar, and Laser technology track every swing, pitch, and defensive play.

  • Guaranteed visibility: 4 games per team plus Friday Player Event metrics for approved teams.

  • Elite competition: All National, Gold, and A-level 16U and 18U teams welcome.

  • College access: Committed colleges will be on-site to watch players in action on Friday.  See below for attending College Coaches and Scouts

Friday, June 12 – Big Time Softball Player Event

  • Limited to 100 players

  • Each participant receives a player profile featuring their verified metrics and video highlights

Agenda - 

Player Registration

Players arrive and complete registration, including providing necessary information and waivers.
Players have time for warm-up, stretching, and getting acquainted with the event area.

Intro to the day & Player Warm up

20/40-Yard Dash

Players participate in the 20 & 40-yard dash assessment, where their speed and acceleration are measured.

Hitting Assessment

Players take turns at hitting stations, where exit velocity and hitting mechanics are assessed and players batting skills and power are measured.

Outfield Assessment

Infield and outfield drills are conducted to evaluate players' fielding skills, including ground balls, pop-ups, and throws.
Players showcase fielding range, accuracy, and arm strength.

Catcher Pop Time Assessment

Catchers participate in pop time assessments to measure their quickness in throwing out baserunners.
Players showcase receiving skills, transfer times, and arm strength.

Pitching Assessment

Pitchers take the mound for assessments of their pitch velocity, accuracy, and command.
Players showcase pitching mechanics and ability to control various pitches.
