What goes into Big Time Softball Player Rankings?
Big Time Softball rankings are comprehensive and based on several factors, including metrics obtained at BTS events, performance during the high school season, publicly available high school stats and achievements, and future “projectability”.
In addition to evaluating athletes at BTS events, our team of scouts are on the road attending high school games, travel games, and non-BTS events throughout the year to evaluate athletes. Ultimately, in person evaluations, in-game performance, and insights provided by trusted high school, travel, & college coaches all help us create our player rankings.
With regards to 2028 rankings, they are currently based entirely on Big TIme Softball event performance because those athletes have not yet played a high school season.
