Big Time Softball Profile 

Every prospect's recruiting process starts and ends with the BTS Profile and our showcases revolve around that player profile. For first time attendees, a new BTS profile will be created, hosting all of your information, videos, head shot, metrics and more, making it one of your single most important tools in the recruiting process. Repeat showcase performances will continue to update your BTS profile, creating a history of prospect progress and ensuring the most up-to-date information is easily accessible throughout the fast-paced scouting community. These profiles are also searchable by a range of data points and metrics through our advanced search engine, making it a one stop shop for recruiters and scouts.

NOTE: Scout Days do not include written player evals or a shirt. Please wear your HS or Travel Team gear.

STATS

BTS stats are the industry standard in the scouting community, carrying the highest credibility in actionable data. BTS profiles are the most reliable resources for prospect information due to this reason alone. Stats are collected using only the highest of standard equipment including BLAST Motion Hitting, laser timers, FlightScope and Stalker radars. All stats are hosted in player profiles. 

VIDEO

All prospect performances will be professionally video taped, edited and uploaded into their BTS Profile. Videos will consist of multiple angles and record all aspects of the showcase including 40’s, live batting practice, pitching, and defensive performances. Videos are hosted in BTS Profiles and used for video spotlights, content, social media and more. Videos are accessible to all BTS+ subscribers.

POST-EVENT CONTENT

One of the many results of a BTS showcase is getting all the information collected to the public in a timely and digestible manner. Every showcase will be featured on the BigTimeSoftball.com  website and social channels through various forms of post-event content, leaderboards, video spotlights and more.

In an effort to elevate the post-event experience for players who attend a BTS Showcase, the Account Dashboard is now your one stop shop to view all of your post-event deliverables, including your Video, FlightScope, Blast Data and more.

  FlightScope softball tracking technology is developed to offer you performance data you can trust in your pursuit of excellence. The FlightScope X3B is a portable in-game and practice tracking system that allows users to measure both pitching and hitting data indoors and outdoors. The FlightScope X3B utilizes patented Fusion Tracking technology which is an innovative combination of 3D Doppler tracking and synchronized image processing, providing an advanced and accurate method for combining radar and camera data. 
• Pitching Reports
  -Pitching data includes: Pitch velocity, spin rate, pitch spin direction, pitch tilt, release height, release side, extension, break induced vertical, break horizontal, break vertical, strike zone height, strike zone side, plate speed, approach angle vertical, and approach angle horizontal. 
  -Tag Pitch types to compare average velocity, spin rate, horizontal break, and induced vertical break on each pitch.
  -In game reports include zone percentage, strikeout percentage, swings and misses, swing percentage, whiff percentage, swinging strike percentage, Z-swing percentage, Z-contact percentage, O-swing percentage, and O-contact percentage. 
• Hitting Reports
  -Hitting data includes: Exit velocity, launch angle vertical, launch angle horizontal, carry distance, and flight time.
