Sammy Magee - Utility - 2025 - Northern York - 1st team all state

Instagram: @sammymagee06

Sammy Magee had an incredible 2023 regular season, but she almost deserves to be on this list based on her postseason contributions alone! Magee went from a strong-hitting first baseman and spot starter to perhaps the best pitcher in the state in the 5A classification. Magee allowed just six runs all postseason against top competition like Mechanicsburg, Solanco and Shaler among others,  capping the magical run off by scoring the state-title winning run on Sabrina Paulin’s walk-off hit. Magee’s transformation into a true top-line ace seemingly out of nowhere was as big a reason as any that her Northern York squad won the state championship. Magee was named 1st team all state in 2023 and we expect a huge 2024 season from her!
